Michael Schuster

Fresh, with marked mineral character to smell; the balance of so many 2012s: a mediumfull wine of nice concentration, with a crisp acidity and very fine tannin; ripe, juicy, nicely defined St-Julien linearity, long and subtle to taste, refined and with good minerally length, too. All the sweet fresh fruit of the Ducru, as well as some of its refinement. Deliciously accessible, very nice quality. 2017-27

Fat and round, with elegant structure and notes of cedar (60% Cabernet), profound and focused. 16.5
