Quite a deep color but not suspiciously so. Good, clean, if not very exciting aromas. Very “sour cherry” on the palate, with the accent slightly on the “sour”; perfectly correct, ripe, and nervous: grows on you, with good length and character. Drink from 2014 for 10 years+.

Tim Atkin MW

Dense garnet, with a hint of orange. Closed, tightly wound nose, with a lot of underlying power. Rich, savory, fresh acidity; still quite closed on the palate, too, but a serious wine. Still young, with savory/sweet flavors, medium-weight tannins, and a refreshing, clove spice finish.

Bruno Besa

Deep garnet to tawny rim. Mature, complex, elegant red-and- black-fruit nose, very intense, with bright, compact, layered fruit. Medium to full body, with great, fine tannins and a long, sweet, red-fruit finish. A classy brunello.
