A fine, rich blackcurrant Cabernet nose, subtle oak and mineral; elegantly balanced in a firmer expression of the year, firmly tannic, fresh in acidity, plenty of matter; lovely sweet fruit, long and complex and minerally, a rich, fleshy, and vital wine within the firm tannins, and a fine, delicate, fruit-cored persistence. 2025-35+

At the UGC tasting, the wine was fresh, subtle, not super-full-bodied; supple but finishing with very delicate tannins. Tasted on several other occasions, the wine was much more intense but just as elegant and noble -- one of the top three of the appellation.
