There were no other samples left of this château at the end of the day, and the one tasted lacked a bit of freshness in order to compare it to the other stars of the area even though we have no doubts about the terroir and the winemaking standard of this estate. We will retaste in several months.
Ripe, fine, gently cedary, gently minerally nose; very nicely balanced, elegant, moderately concentrated wine, particularly fine-textured in its tannin, fresh in acidity; juicily ripe but also fresh and appetizing, sweet and long, subtly racy and with fine aromatic length. Complete, restrained, classy. 2020-30+.
