Golden color, very rich and ripe, lots of sugar; noble rot in evidence but on the heavy side; lacking the balance of the best neighbors. Intense, made for aging but, for my taste, oversweet. Lacks acidity, in fact.
Fat and rich, orange marmalade, quite long, but not very impressive; good, rich, and heavy wine.
Mature mid-gold; dense, honeyed nose; generous, ample Sauternes; intensely sweet, rich, long, and powerful; a fairly potent expression of the vineyard; refined, yes, but heavyweight, too. Now–2030+.
