Not as pure as Coutet, even though it is ample, generous, and refined. It needs years to integrate its rich sweetness.
Bright mid-gold; closed, but dense and spicy, too; moderately concentrated Climens, refined and subtle; very sweet, quite unctuous, but without the density and race of the really great years; that said, a fine, rich, complete, and complex Barsac, with excellent length. Like the Coutet, a superb 2006. Now–2030+.

Yellow color, complex nose, blend of noble-rot apricot-and-citrus undertones (with the Barsac acidity) and acacia flower or acacia honey; slightly less precise than Coutet, lot of dry extract (good indication for long aging), hint of lactic touch, which explains why the purity of the fruit is not supreme. Excellent but not absolute.
