Closed to smell; nicely balanced, moderately chewy medium-weight; a very “dry” claret character to taste, modest complexity and length, but nice lesser claret in its slightly lean 2006 style. Accessible now, with food. 2011–16.

Good dark color, discrete nose, austere, no great charm, medium body, strict tannins but not too dry, simple fruit, nothing special.
Dark color with a hint of brown. Brown tobacco aromas, strong tannins, classic, and a bit rustic Médoc, but it has freshness on the finish. Correct from now to five years.
