Quite deep but not opaque. Coffee and berry fruit on the nose, though cherry emerges with air. Palate is more berry, though, and while the wine is well made (not a hair out of place), it isn’t typical, with minty undertones, lowish acid, and professional artifices abounding. Good wine but not very Brunello.

Bruno Besa

Deep garnet to tawny. An open, cedarwood nose, with clean, complex, mineral fruit, blackcurrants and hints of cloves. Medium to full body, with clean, mature fruit and a long, clean, lively finish.

Deep garnet/red. Still young. Rich, aromatic, asian spices on the nose, powerful and concentrated in style. Very modern, with evident barriques, some mint and cassis and sandalwood, and lots of sweet fruit. refreshing acidity, marked oak, and a finish that is almost claret-like. Not typical but a very well-made wine.
