Japanese cuisine meets German wine during this intimate tasting evening. Kyoto Kitchen - a boutique restaurant serving authentic Japanese food and The WineBarn - a wine merchant specialising in German wine, will be hosting this enticing tasting experience on Tuesday 10th March in Winchester. As flavours from two very different cultures fuse, your palate will be taken on an exciting journey of discovery and you will have the opportunity to learn about the art of food & wine pairing. The evening will kick off with an aperitif, followed by five delicious courses paired with five premium wines. Your hosts will talk you through the ingredients and techniques used to create these dishes, and explain how they select wines that truly compliment them, while you savour the mouth-watering flavours. Two of The WineBarn’s top producers - Uli Allendorf (Allendorf, Rheingau) and Markus Mleinek (Dr Heger, Baden), will be on hand to offer insight into their winemaking techniques.
