The dinner will be held at Theo Randall Restaurant at the InterContinental, London Park Lane. Theo Randall restaurant has gone from strength-to-strength since it opened to critical acclaim in November 2006, following Theo’s success as Head Chef at Michelin starred The River Café. Theo’s new dishes celebrate the simple yet robust flavours of Italian cooking, with seasonality at the heart.
Tradition, passion and instinct have made Marchesi Antinori one of the leading Italian producers of fine quality wines. Every vintage, every terroir, every idea is a new beginning, a new quest to raise the quality margins. As Marchese Piero Antinori likes to repeat: “ancient roots play an important role in our work but they have never held back our spirit of innovation”.
Following the Tenuta Montenisa, Cuvée Royale reception and introductory overview, guests will go on to experience the following, carefully paired vintages:
Pair 1: Carvaro della Sala 2005 vs 2014
Pair 2: Tignanello 1999 vs 2013
Pair 3: Badia a Passignano 2001 vs 2012
Pair 4: Guado al Tasso 2007 vs 2013
Pair 5: Solaia (en magnum) 1994 vs 2011
