German-born but London-based, Anne Krebiehl MW is a freelance wine writer and lecturer. She contributes widely to trade and consumer publications in the UK, US and Germany. She also lectures, particularly on German wine, consults for London restaurants, translates wine-related texts and judges at international wine competitions. Her interests are German, Austrian, Italian and New Zealand wines, her particular focus is on Pinot Noir, Riesling and traditional method sparkling wines. Anne was admitted to the Institute of Masters of Wine in September 2014, her dissertation explored “The Future of Premium German Pinot Noir”. Anne has helped to harvest and make wine in New Zealand, Germany and Piedmont.
