67 Pall Mall
In a space that dates back to the late 17th century, this private members club combines a Grade II-listed historic façade with elegant modern interiors, within a prime location in the heart of St James’s; with this area of London’s history of attracting wine merchants, it seems appropriate that it’s now the setting for a members club that specializes in sourcing fine wine from around the world.
67 Pall Mall takes particular pride in the diversity of its wine list, which has been curated by the head of wine Ronan Sayburn MS, along with the head sommelier Terry Kandyliss. Here, the extensive sub-basement cellars are home to thousands of cases containing some of the finest and rarest wines to be found. A menu of modern European plates that embrace seasonal and local produce has then been created by head chef Marcus Verberne to complement the wine list.
While relaxing in the Members’ Lounge overlooking St James’s Palace or the quieter Mezzanine—which has an extensive collection of wine books—or taking part in an informal tasting in the Wine Library, let the club’s team of wine experts guide you through this fascinating wine collection.
